The Rolla Lady Bulldogs took home first place in the St James JV Girls Tournament.
Rolla led 28-9 at halftime. The Lady Tigers came back in the second half and cut the lead to just 6 points with under 2 minutes in the game.
Rolla hung on to pick up a 49-39 win to bring home the Championship
The Fatima Lady Comets overcame a 14-17 halftime deficit to win the 3rd place game 39-26.
Sullivan won a close 28-26 game to win the consultation game of the tournament.

This issue includes a Youth Basketball Story, A story on Rolla Sports Signings, and the Waynesville Student of Month.
It also included photos from the Dixon vs Newburg Girls and Rolla vs Pacific Boys Game.
The St James Tigers defeated the Rolla Bulldogs on Tuesday night.
St James took a 14-7 lead after the first quarter of the game. The Tigers out scored the Bulldogs 23-18 in a high scoring second period.
The Tigers led 37-25 going into the first half.
St James edged out Rolla 22-17 in the 3rd quarter to give them a 59-41 lead. After another 22-14 quarter the Tigers defeated 81-56.
This is the second win against an Ozark Conference schools, as The Tigers defeated the Waynesville Tigers in a close game at the Sullivan Tournament.

The Rolla Lady Bulldogs picked up their second win of the season after a narrow 34-28 victory over the Sullivan Lady Eagles on Tuesday.
Rolla led 9-2 after the first quarter of the game. The Lady Bulldogs took a 19-8 lead going into halftime.
Sullivan used to second half to come within 2 points of taking their first lead of the game. Rolla was outscored by Sullivan 7-5 to cut the Lady Bulldogs lead to 25-15.
Sullivan used a strong defense to slow down the Rolla offense. The out scored Rolla 13-5 until less than a minute left in the 4th. Rolla made their free throws to pick up their 34-28 win.
The Class 4 Number 3 Lady Bulldogs will host the Class 5 Number 1 Jefferson City Lady Jays on Monday at Rolla High School.
