Clayton Gregory
Clayton is a freshman at Richland. He was a member of the Bears soccer team and served at the manager for both basketball teams. He is also part of the high school Academic team.
"Well, for Academics, that would be winning 3rd place in the Morrisville History Bowl, and as a manager the girls defeating Licking for the Conference title." Clayton said was his best moments competing.
He plans on continuing his soccer career and being part of the basketball programs in a supporting role.
He was a member of the 2020 Girls Frisco League Basketball Championship team.
"Well, Coach Ward, I’ve known her for awhile now because I always helped at the Laquey Basketball Games, and she was always there. Now, for Richland I can talk to her about anything and she is always there. I can even get homework help from her, not to mention the fun gym classes with her. " He said how coach Ward had helped him over time.
He added this for advice he has, "You guys only get 4 years if high school, make it fun and memorable."
She is a Volleyball, Basketball, and Track Athlete. She is a Middle player in volleyball, center in basketball, and thrower in track.
She is also a member of FCCLA, the NHS secretary, Science Club secretary, and class president. this is her second year TCMH youth ambassador, part of the youth group at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
She has been part of the Missouri State Championships multiple times. Moncrief was part of the 4th place basketball team in 2019 and the state runner up in 2020. She also placed 4th in the Shot Put at the state track championships. She was also part of the final 4 volleyball team this last season.
"Being able to go to go to state in all three of my sports." Moncrief said about her best memories at Licking.
She plans on becoming a nurse after college.

"All of my coaches have left a mark on me and have helped me understand and value hard work and have showed me what I would have to do to get where I want to be in my life." She said about the help coaches have given her.
She closed with this advice,"Enjoy the memories and the time spent with your teammates, they are your second family."

Alexia Cressel
Senior - Laquey High School
Cressel is a 3 sports athlete. She is a point guard in basketball, striker in soccer, and plays 3rd base in softball.
She also participates in FBLA, Beta, Pep Club, Stu-co, and A+ outside of sports.
She plans on moving on to college next year and pursuing a degree after this year.
"Just being able to be on that court and field." She responded to about her best memory in sports.
On the field, she has earned my accolades and awards.

“My soccer coach Sevon has coached me the 4 years, I have played soccer. He has taught me many things and doesn’t give up on us no matter what." She said about her coach.
Cressel gave this advice to close things out, "Give your all when you are playing, always listen to the coach and ask for help if needed."
She has been a runner up in districts twice so far as a soccer team and Soccer is currently scheduled to return on April 13th at Calvary Lutheran in Jefferson City according to the MSHSAA athletic Schedule.

The St James Tigers defeated the Rolla Bulldogs on Tuesday night.
St James took a 14-7 lead after the first quarter of the game. The Tigers out scored the Bulldogs 23-18 in a high scoring second period.
The Tigers led 37-25 going into the first half.
St James edged out Rolla 22-17 in the 3rd quarter to give them a 59-41 lead. After another 22-14 quarter the Tigers defeated 81-56.
This is the second win against an Ozark Conference schools, as The Tigers defeated the Waynesville Tigers in a close game at the Sullivan Tournament.

The Lady Hornets fell to Climax Springs 58-30 after trailing 32-11 at the half.
Laquey was led by Briar Sayer with 17 points, followed by Makenzie Skidmore with 6, Aurora Rice with 5, and Hannah Henson added 2.
The Lady Hornets will be back in action Saturday, November 30th at 12:00 against Plato in the Frisco League Tournament.
That game will be tape delayed and uploaded on Allen Hilliard Sports FB & youtube on Sunday.
The boys fell to Climax Springs is a 56-22 loss. They were led by Jason Young with 8 points.
The Hornets will take on Iberia on Tuesday at 6:30 in the FLT Tournament.
